I’ve seen a neat little minimalist desk lamp that uses MR16s which leaves the whole bulb and reflector completely exposed. It just clamps down on the pins to support the otherwise naked bulb assembly. That lamp would be a really cool way to display some of the dichroic MR16s, you’ve shown recently… if I ever come across any.

I didn't know they had already used the 'Tru-Aim' trademark back in the GTE era! I just bought some 20w ones of more recent design for my landscape lighting. GTE was also our phone company back when Sylvania lamps had this packaging.

Soo, did the box say 12 volts even though its a 120 fixture? Cool bulb either way, I like how the reflector makes all the colors on the backside.

Personally, I dislike halogen bulbs because they are not efficient at all but have excellent color rendering with a CRI of 98
