Hello #FlossTube Wow! Thank you so much for your support, comments, and warm welcome into the FlossTube community! This really is a special place and I feel like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. So here I am, for my 2nd FlossTube video all about #crossstich and chill. I have a beautiful FFO, and despite having so many other project, I've obviously found a few more. Is it too late to start Halloween stitching? And a few updates on sewing, and all my TV adventures are here too! Enjoy!

I think you saw the end of a design finish on waste canvas. You put it over some fabric you want to stitch on. I have done T-shirts, pillowcases, sweatshirt. Lots of gifts for family and friends.

Wonderful Harry Potter hoop finish! Excited to see your skull sips as you work on them.

I too am making a switch from bobbins to Annie Keepers. I hated bobbinating and it would keep me from starting projects because I would be the same as you, thinking I was wasting so much stitching time. I store mine on rings, grouped in numerical order. They hang on a wall mounted magazine rack with rods that I installed behind my office door so it is mostly out of sight unless the door is closed. I also store all my "fancy floss" there too. It's not as 'tidy' as bobbins in a box, however I found it takes up way less space, is much less time consuming, and much more mobile than bobbins.

Great Episode! I’m in the process of switching over from bobbins (spools) to floss drops. I decided on Annie’s Keepers mainly because the system does have a storage option. Most of the floss drops systems I have seen do not. It’s not cheap if you are switching over a full set, but you could easily switch over a few at a time by project. There are instructional videos on YouTube.

Congrats on your FFO! So cute :D I love Harry Potter. I use flossaway bags and those clip rings. I'm not a fan of bobbins, and I haven't tried floss drops but I got one in a kit and haven't been a fan so far. Love the stitching idea you're going to do on the bag, I can't wait to see it!

Love your Harry Potter hoop finish! And my husband pokes fun at Paul Hollywood's comments all the time, too! But I enjoy his commentary just as much as the show so it's all good 😀

Also I like your patterns a lot. Samplers leave me pretty cold. Been stitching since 1998, but new to the jargon because I have only been watching Flosstube less than a year.
