Mark 11:24 and Believe You Have Already Received

What did Jesus mean in Mark 11:24 when he said, "Therefore I tell you whatever you ask in prayer believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Someone recently asked a question and they said, "You have given the example of Mark 11:24, that once we ask we should believe we have received, but here you say we should keep asking. Why do you say to keep praying but you have said that we should act like what we prayed for has been received already. Now you say keep asking?"

So I thought I'd make a video answering that the best I can.

I prayed in accordance to mark 11:24 to find my ex girlfriend again who left my life before covid and within 1 day I found her miraculously, I found her socials. I looked for her a year prior with no success, she told me she loved me back in 2019 but we broke up due to differences. Mark 11:24 works but God builds upon our faith, he makes us wait. So don't doubt yourself in faith or belief, just stay faithful and it will happen. For me it worked due to the emotion I poured out into prayer cause I still love her and miss her. Believe you have received it is important also. Don't doubt your faith or belief for a second, only strengthen it more each day, don't doubt your abundance of faith

In 1983 I found myself being persistent in Prayer and getting what I wanted that instance!
Twenty-five minutes before that happened, I was sitting in my room in the barracks of a Marine Airfield in Okinawa. I was listening to a Christian Radio station where the preacher was talking about Mark 11:24 with much wisdom he was explaining how to believe, how to use your mind, how to think about receiving what you say, how to speak to God as a Father who wants to give you good things! I was so excited about the message that I got up from my bed as I was listening to the radio and I decided to put God to the Test. I said out loud Okay, God here is what I want. I want to receive $87.00 dollars right now! I had no idea why I said that! So then I sat down, and started thinking what am I doing? Seconds later...I sense God presence within me and said, My son get out of your room and go downstairs. At that place I was residing on a second floor baracks. So I went downstairs not knowing what to expect, and there is no one around. I kept walking passing another stairs and to my Surprise I turn around and see a bunk of money rolling around on the stairs! Then my intuition tells me, there is your money! So I started grabbing the money faster than I was overjoyed. Doing so, not for the money, but that my prayers were answered faster than I had ever imagined. My pockets were filled and full and I looked around to make sure I did not missed any bills and that there was not any person trying to reclaimed it. I took it to my room and was so overjoyed that I started counting it and it was a whole lot more than $87.00 dollars, I will leave it at that!

The little i know in the subject is mark 11:24 can be explained with Ephesians 1:3 and it says "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ". This seems indicate that we've already got the blessings what we ask to God, firstable in the spiritual realm. The teacher andrew wommack explain this with awesome detail in his series "you've already got it" and "a better way to pray".

Interesting perspective. Something that helps me when looking at scriptures like this, is remembering that we live in two dimensions at the same time, and what is finished or done, or already exists it one, does not necessarily exist or has been experienced in the other. Quantum science sees this as "waveform" (unseen and/or not manifested in time/space) and "particle" or physical reality, in time and space. The same thing from a Christian perspective is, the unseen is the realm of the spirit and the seen is the realm of earth or the natural. So believing that you have received what you ask for, prior to experiencing it, is simply drawing spiritual reality out of heaven and into experience in earth. God's kingdom and will, coming in earth, as it already is in heaven. I don't know if we can really understand this but I believe it is the truth, and gives us some context for verses like Mk 11:24.

Ive been praying for an apartment and recieved a dream of getting one.. I have no job so no money but I have something more valuable.. Jesus.
I believe that dream with all my heart! The Lord has shown me blessings for others in my dream before (he gave blessings to unbelievers who mock him naturally, so what is too impossible for us believers?) and it had came to pass instantly btw!..so this is where my faith stands - is because of proof like this! He says what he says he's going to do and he's going to do it.. He cannot lie! He just cant!
Our faith means alot to God, we cannot please him with out that small mustard seed. Believe your faith is that mustard seed and watch his love water that seed into a beautiful present for you.

It’s not hard to understand. It essentially means to pray with intention. Pray with certainty you want what you pray for. You gotta pray and work for it too. Can’t just leave it all to prayer

Don't ask for the same thing repetitively. Matthew 6 I do believe. Ask that God will forgive you he already has.
Ask that Jesus would save you he already has.
Ask for healing you've already been healed
