Sabha Election Results 2024 LIVE: The counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, which will determine the country's leadership underway at counting stations nationwide amid stringent security measures. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is confident of easily crossing the majority mark, as is the Congress-led Opposition alliance, INDIA bloc. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with his ambitious ‘400 Paar’ target, eyes a record hat-trick win. Meanwhile, the Opposition claims it will spring a surprise on counting day, with its leaders asserting they will bag at least 295 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats. Exit polls predicted a clear edge for the NDA, driven by the BJP’s gains in southern and eastern states. Congress and opposition parties rejected the exit poll numbers, asserting a definite win for themselves. The seven-phase mega election process began on April 19 and ended on June 1.
