Emmanuel Hudson on Rapping, Getting Compared to Drake & Andre 3000

Emmanuel Hudson is known for his YouTube comedy skits, but most may not know that he's dabbled in rap before taking comedy seriously. The Wild 'N Out entertainer says before his big break, he had a promising rap career and was often compared to Andre 3000 and Drake. The 26-year-old tells VladTV, as a back up he did attend college and was kicked out twice after flunking out. Though, some would walk away defeated he says that's when he made an important decision that led him to Hollywood. "Fortunately, knowing that I was kicked out for a year, I went home and got back on the Youtube videos, then, boom!"

In the interview, Emmanuel also discusses the impact of mumble rappers and whether Soulja Boy is indeed the father of modern rap.
