Small and medium sized enterprises in Hong Kong are struggling amid a slow COVID-19 vaccination programme, with business confidence at its lowest level for two years running. This serves as a lesson for policy makers. Build your domestic market first. Prioritize it. If your industries are too reliant on outside inflows, then when a disaster like this struck, you're only option is to slash prices.
