I’m looking for this very same Rolex day just preowned. I’m finding some from the late 90s early 2000s for five to $7000.

I was looking at this black bay 36 but for a couple thousand dollars more I could pick up a preowned date-just 36

Which one felt bigger on your wrist? It seems the Tudor looks more like a 37 with the wider face dial. With the Rolex having more constrained dial but of course with more thickness due to the flutter dial.

Sales at Bangkok Tudor boutique are certain that BB36 S&G bezel is solid gold but the rests are capped gold. Can you pls reconfirm from your info source? Ty.

Comparing gold capping to solid gold is a little outrageous. Of you compare the 2 models in stainless there is hardly a difference.
