man... i really miss playing this game back then. just watching this video I remembered playing this with my friends in 2018 just doing missions together, back when certain items were actually rare (now everything has been duped like a million times so nothing is valuable anymore), trading and just having fun

Rememeber when:
•Heroes had support and tactical perks

•There was barely any trading at all

I actually like Save The World more than Battle Royale. It's not as stressful.

My first exposure to fortnite was this mode and its pretty entertaining watching a royale player struggle to understand everything about what used to be the base game.

Some tips: the root things are fibrous herbs and are time consuming to get a lot of as they are usually only found in places like bushes (6:51). Also try to batch recycle everything that is rare and under, which includes: weapon schematics, heroes, defenders, and in most cases; survivors, batch retiring is the same as batch recycling, but retiring is for heroes, defenders, and survivors. Recycling is only for schematics. When recycling things, you get xp points that are used to level up and then evolve the weapon schematics, survivors, defenders, and heroes. One thing to keep in mind is that each of the four types of items that you can level up have their own xp type. Schematic xp, hero xp, and so on. About leveling up, you can find everything in your armory tab on the home base screen. Everything can be leveled up to 10, which gets each thing to power level 34. Evolution for heroes, defenders and survivors can be found all through the tier 1 skill tree, all though schematics are early on in the 2nd tier tree, basically when you do the last stone wood mission. I’ll tell a lot more in part 2 of save the world. And keep in mind: stone wood is the main place in time where players get bored and quit, but it does get more fun.

Crazy how save the world was at once the entire premise of fortnite. It was teased all the way back in 2011. Then they released battle royal as an extra mode to play in just to join the battle royal train and so they could allow players to mess with the build mechanics.

Now Fortnite is all just battle royal and the team realized how the game was more focused on this aspect

The gameplay is so much smoother and dynamic than Battle Royale, and the AR is so much quicker
