The Greensand Way - Brockham to Betchworth in Surrey

Continuing the explorations of the long distance path The Greensand Way, Matthew Holdsworth and I are in Brockham in Surrey heading towards Betchworth in the same county.

Our journey takes us beside the river Mole and just south of the Northdowns and Box Hill.

As I understand it, the band of chalk that goes north from Dover, comes out at Flamborough head with its famous bird colony at Bempton. I am enjoying your videos.

Another great vid Richard & Matthew. The village pound was interesting - small little chorale open to the elaments🤔. I'd think even in olden times folks would have thought that quite inadequate! Beautiful country side w/ more quaint village houses & church. Topped off by a bit of pop culture (3 Weddings & A Funeral). What are the diff between all the chestnuts? As we do not have them in the western US (at least not in our area).

Great to see this walk as I have done it a couple of times, pity you didn’t show the old forge in Betchworth when you were so close but I guess you can’t show everything.
