Nice pair of Altec A7 A-500 speakers. Utilizing Altec 511B horns, 902-8B drivers, Altec 416-8B woofers, Altec N-501 Crossovers playing on a Crown DC300A stereo amplifier. All Original Altec components.

This is a 100% American World-Beater and deserves the respect you'd give any premiere product from the pioneers of sound reproduction - Altec-Lansing, JBL or Klipsch. The plasticrap shaped to look like electronic equipment and mostly imported is tomorrow's landfill. From the Bell labs and Western Electric era when communication equipment was designed to last a lifetime...or two!

I have a pair of Model 19s. Same drivers as The Voice of the Theater, but in a conventional bass reflex cabinet. Recommend corner placement to greatly improve low frequency response. I drive it with a Yamaha AS-501 integrated amplifier. Careful with the volume or you risk setting the drapes on fire.
