I have a portable Gallagher S100 solar energizer. A 10 dollar T shaped push in ground rod, a 16 dollar roll of cheap brand polywire and a few 2 dollar push in plastic posts. I set up one strand of wire around any gardens in ten minutes. No deer get in. After the resident deer have all had a little shock from it I move the T shaped ground rod and energizer to another location leaving the old single wire in place. They don't go near the wire for at least long enough to mature my crops. I think most important is to make certain the wire you chose is visible. They will not test it if they have been shocked and can see its the wire. You can't fence an animal IN with electric fence very easily but it's easy to fence them OUT with it. Of course you must make certain no plant touches that hot wire or its not going to shock. I've been doing this 10 years. I don't recommend any electric energizer but Gallagher. I had a Parmac and it was too slow of a beat and they LIE about the Jules strength and get away with it.

Can you put the brand of lights you use. Most on line seem rather cheap. Thanks
