Storytime! I may have accidentally started a HIPPO CULT

Guess what? It's Storytime! I may have accidentally started a hippo cult.

✨recipe:
2 Eggs
2 tbsp milk
3 tbsp flour
¼ tsp baking powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp sugar

Directions:
1. Separate egg yolks and whites
2. With yolks, add milk and mix until combined
3. In separate bowl, combine baking powder and flour and slowly sift into yolk mixture while stirring. Add vanilla extract.
4. Preheat pan on low heat (300 F)
5. Add sugar to egg whites and whisk until stiff peaks form
6. Slowly incorporate the meringue into yolk mixture
7. Add vegetable oil to pan and wipe around with paper towel. Ladle pancake batter into pan and cover with lid to cook. Flip after around 4 minutes.

This is proof that McDonald's toys do create wonders 💀

My sister has something similar. She has adhd, so she has fidgets to bring to school. She has this one mochi dino called Jimmy, and her classmates all love him. They made a play for him for the talent show, they make him bracelets, etc. Hes literally falling apart, but no one in her class wants to throw him away yet.

In 7th grade my homeroom was divided between 2 cults. The one I was in praised Rayman (I still don’t know who that is) and was full of ‘sacrifice’. The other cult was praising Dora the Explorer. Let’s just say we ‘sacrificed’ that half of the class.
Eventually some students from other homerooms got interested and it became a whole house war of the cults. I still remember that I was the designated candle drawer because we’d draw our candles on whiteboards and I was one of the best artists. The other 2 would draw Rayman and other characters on the big whiteboards.

I feel really bad because in high school we also accidentally created a cult around this mildly autistic kid who was really into airplanes. There's no defense of it but he was really into airplanes, he could tell you what airplane was flying over you from sight alone, and he was not afraid of sharing it. The opposite of a social, dude was an entire extrovert. Also incredibly socially inept, his entire family was that way. All in all, an incredible guy. Luckily I think he always took it in stride, and ultimately he was always at every club event. Even his mom would help clean up. I hope he's working in an aviation museum or something.
