from my own personal experience i have to say that this by itself has cleaned up my shifts up and has removed the heavy vibration i was getting with the stock bushing with my single mass flywheel. But unfortunately i still can not shift into gear after 5500 rpm. complete lock out. i also managers to install this on my EcoBoost without having to drop the drive shaft like most people recommend doing. i had it installed in 15 mins

I did the bracket and trans Insert in the same day and the Vibration and Noise is off the chain.. I am taking the trans insert out next week.. OMG is loud inside the car now.. I was surprised I could hear you talk.. I can't wait to get the insert out.. I hope everything calms back down after that...

Hi. Like your vids. In your bushing install video, you lower the tranny. Steeda does not show this as being needed, just allow the exhaust to support the housing tail before installing the
bushing/bracket...? As for some comments re: NVH, was thinking of adding 1mm silicone
Pad at each stud hole to eliminate metal to metal. Factory bracket was flimsy compared to
Steeda’s. Any input on these questions appreciated. Thanks. DW

I added silicone pads to a Barton ‘14 bracket.

yeah, I did mine too and love how it feels like. I didn't notice any nvh increase. I was thinking about replacing shifter too but since this upgrade I'm keeping stock shifter, it's actually pretty nice

I just did the mount insert and bushing and it made a huge difference in shifter feel. But there is noticeable increase in nvh. But I like it. Makes me feel more connected to the car

I installed one of these and noticed that at low rpms the shifts are worse than stock meaning I have to push it into gear with some force, but in high rmps you get a smoother and secure shift, would you agree?

Just curious. Did these mods help with the 3rd gear lock out? I'm getting furious at my MT82 since it decides to grind 3rd once a day

Hey man thanks for the video. It's been really helpful. So I have been noticing a thud/whining noise and transmission clunks especially into lower gears and lower RPMs. I am thinking about Steeda's transmission bushing insert, tri-ax street shifter (the $130 one, not the whole set you did), and the shifter bracket. Would you recommend the combination? I absolutely won't like added NVH. I can tolerate little though. Did you have similar symptoms as I did? What are your thoughts on NVH (looks like you had all the parts installed (except for the complete shifter kit) and thud/whine/clunking? Mine is 2016 GT performance package. Thanks bro!!

Sup bud, this is my first stick shift car so I don't know the exact way how a shifter should feel. Once the car is in optimal temperature, still the shifter wont feel nice until the drive it a little bit as well as going WOT then the shifter starts to feel better. I noticed when switching to Track mode I get less hiccups between gear shifts.

whats the proper way to shift this car? When shifting 1-2 quickly (slightly applying downwars pressure on the shifter) I can see the RPMs have already dropping down ready for 2nd while sometimes the RPM drops slowly and as I release the clutch the jerk happens.

just out of curiosity how old are you and how much does insurance set you back? I'm 24 looking to buy when I'm 25 I don't know if the gt is going to be a ridiculous price for myself

Do you get a clunk when shifting from 2>3?
