"GUARANTEED Pass Your Road Test "First Time" + the Defensive & Winter Driving Smart Courses

Following too close and stopping too close to other traffic in a line are two of the hallmarks of social driving. If you're on the brake all the time and reacting to other traffic, you're following too close. Increase your following distance so you can respond to traffic and maintain a minimum safe distance. Stop behind other traffic so that you're approximately one vehicle length between you and other traffic.

Good luck on your road test.

Simple rule: When traffic is moving at a steady pace, if you're using your brakes, you're tailgating.

100 feet behind on highway traffic flowing is a good idea. 100 feet gave you ample time to brake in case the knucklehead in front suddenly slam on the brake.
