Introducing the new THR-II series: expanding the desktop amp concept with more sounds and a rich wireless experience.

The new THR-II series takes the THR concept to new heights with more of everything, including new guitar amp models, bass amp models, mic models for acoustic-electric guitar, and flat voicings for everything else.

All three new THR-II amplifiers feature Bluetooth® support for audio playback and editing via the THR Remote app. The THR30II Wireless and THR10II Wireless amps also include an integrated wireless receiver that pairs perfectly with an optional Line 6® Relay®G10T transmitter, and built-in rechargeable batteries that enable you to play wherever your music takes you.

Hear what some of our artists thought about the sound quality, the new wireless features, and how they use THR at home and on the road. Look for full interviews and performance videos from Oz Noy, Josh Smith, Joe Falconer, Jacob Berry, Yvette Young, Matteo Mancuso, Soren Andersen, Jeff Schroeder, and Jack Thammarat.

I love this little amp. It is the best small amp I have ever owned. It sounds great and can produce any tone I want. Just love it.

You will be pleasantly surprised by the Yamaha. Great tone and the stereo effect is amazing.
If they ever come out with this same amp with bigger speakers for live gigs, they will dominate.

I have the THR10 & TRH10x, and use one of them at least daily, even more than my Helix or other amps. I wish there was a foot switch.. I'll wait to see what Cameron Cooper say's about this. He is the reason I bought these Yamaha amps in the first place. Yamaha should send him one, he's influenced a lot of guys to buy them.. I like the new features.

I have the THR 10ii and it's a BEAST! Sound almost like a tube amp and takes to single coils like a champ. When paired with Humbuckers I personally didn't like the sound as much but it wasn't all too bad. I don't use the high gain channel because it's not that great, but hook your pedals up to this thing on the clean or crunch channel and that's the sweet spot. Gets pretty loud too.

The new ones are even better! Perfect and the best home amp!

I am glad to see these. I got a THR10 about 4 years ago. Bluetooth was the only thing I thought was missing for its intended purpose. Since the new model has it, I think you should offer a small wireless pedal that can be used to switch between presets, banks, etc. If Yamaha does not, somebody else probably will. Many comments here about it still lacking an effects loop. I thought so too, but for this amp's purpose, the ambient effects that it has are quite sufficient.

Cameron Cooper made me get a thr10x. Would hopefully get this one in the near future

If I could use my phone to record a loop and play it I would buy this in a heartbeat.

This amp has what looks like a killer feature, for me - which nobody is talking about! The amp model switch has an "ACO" option, and Yamaha's website says it "3 mic models for acoustic-electrics". For anyone, like me, who plays BOTH electric and acoustic guitars, this could be a godsend. Saves the cost of buying two different amps - and the trouble of lugging them around to every coffee-house gig! That said, I'd really like to see and here a demo of how it sounds, with acoustic guitar. I hope it's as good in that department is it seems to be everywhere else... But I need to hear it.

No plans to change my Katana Air, mine does exactly what is required, from playing in my apartment to connected to the pc for recording, plus is sits well beside my Katana 50W... 🎸

Have heard only good things about the original version of this. Looking forward to experimenting on one, and putting it head to head with the Katana Air and see which one comes out on top.

I love it. The price however, is a deal breaker. For now I'll stick with my Boss Katana Mini that sounds awesome 👌
Good to see Josh Smith btw, he's a great guitarist, great guy, and deserves more recognition.

I love my version 1. Hope 2 lives up to the original.

Yamaha, I think it's great you've updated this amp, as I love my THR5. However, I think it's a mistake to have done away with AA batteries as an option, especially since the base model can only be powered via AC adapter.

I love the original. Trying to decide if this is worth the upgrade. A little disappointed that the fx loop got left out again.

Has all the features I wished the original one had! Only problem is that it ruins the main feature of the original, the price....they've doubled it which is really a shame...

I would buy one if it had a effects loop yamaha!

The row of knobs looks nice but the modulation effects deserve to be stacked... maybe 4 separate micro knobs for each effect or 4 separate micro buttons for on/off with one full size control knob?
