A medical yoga class with Dr Geeta S. Iyengar.mov

In 2009, we spent several months in at Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, in Pune. We were granted permission to make this short documentary to showcase the therapeutic work done at the Institute during the so call "medical classes".
Therapeutics is an essential part of the Iyengar's teachings. The concern for the well being of the patients is paramount and the work is done under the rigorous supervision of Dr Geeta Iyengar.
You will find here an exemple of that there is more to yoga than the proverbial quest for "buns of steel".

She is a classical teacher. Strict and full of love. Like father. She positively reinforces the right work. Comments on her body are nasty. If they want to see her do Yoga when she was even a child, they will not make those nasty comments.

I’m not angry as you say and also not throwing stones at you as you mentioned, I’m just replying to your comments. You are entitled to worship any god you want. That doesn’t give you the divine rights to go and comment on other spiritual practices in the world. I never came and commented on any of your Christian channels. I don’t even know who you are. Sure they r very well versed about yoga and teaching it but when I saw all the teachers and how obese they look. I do yoga four times a week and at 77 yrs I look fit and healthy
