FILM DESCRIPTION:
When Beth Emhoff (Gwyneth Paltrow) returns to Minnesota from a Hong Kong business trip, she attributes the malaise she feels to jet lag. However, two days later, Beth is dead, and doctors tell her shocked husband (Matt Damon) that they have no idea what killed her. Soon, many others start to exhibit the same symptoms, and a global pandemic explodes. Doctors try to contain the lethal microbe, but society begins to collapse as a blogger (Jude Law) fans the flames of paranoia.

Such a saddening moment in this pandemic movie. Mitch looks at pictures of his wife and his daughter celebrates her prom in a unique fashion which graduating students had to face during the real pandemic.

This is both a happy and sad ending. The former since Jory got to share a dance with her vaccinated boyfriend, while the latter shows Mitch grieving his late wife. The only happy ending overall in the film; meanwhile, you’ve got a doctor who had to return to a village that received placebos instead of the actual vaccine.
