IHP Fans - Robert Wooten, Front Desk General and IHP legend

Показать описание
Robert Wooten is a Philly legend who worked at the International House of Philadelphia (IHP) for over 16 years.
If you have ever lived in IHP, visited a friend there, watched a movie at the Light Box, or attended one of the many events, then you have been lucky enough to have been greeted by Robert. Hopefully, you also got to know him and at some point listen to one of his many cool stories.
In 2019, Robert was the invited speaker for the African American Month IHP Social Hour. In that meeting, Robert acted as an effective ambassador from his community to international students who wanted to learn more about the unique beauties, strengths, and the struggles faced by the black community in Philadelphia.
One interesting fact about Robert is that even though he is a 100% Philly man, Robert is a Seattle Seahawks fan. I hope you once got the chance to hear the interesting story of how that came to be. Or even better, that you got to listen to the arguments between him and the rest of the IHP (almost all Philly fans).
