That Negative Judge is worth $40 in the buyback program! Pretty good box

Great cards! The negative refractor is fairly rare. I have watched 7 boxes of Hobby... 2 Negative Refractors total. Your Aaron Judge being the best of all box breaks. I saw 2 Jumbo Boxes and only 1 Negative Refractor. I saw 2 Breaker's Delight Boxes and only 1 Negative Refractor.

Nice box, glad you got multiple versions of your boy, and the Judge was really sweet! I agree, like the All Etch.

Apologies for the rant, but I gotta tell ya David, as you may or may not remember, Topps Chrome is my number one favorite set to open each year. We’ve ordered a hobby box a piece (not to mention subsequent blasters) for maybe the last 10 years or so. However, that ended this year, with the roughly 33 percent price increase on hobby boxes. And then, cmon, 40 dollar blasters is getting outrageous, especially when you consider most of us just kinda got used to 30ish after the standard price of 20 for all those years. Now as I type this, I did just grab 3 blasters from Target, but that, along with the singles of the rookies I want this year, are to be the extent of it. Hope this isn’t a portent of the future, but I’d imagine it is.

Anyway, sorry for the Debbie Downer. Really enjoyed the break, thanks for sharing. Love this year’s design in Chrome!

Thanks for sharing as always. That Judge could be a sweet trade in card if he wins the MVP, could fetch you a decent return. Wouldn't it be something if Paul Skenes goes off in the second half, wins out, throws a no hitter, ERA below 1 and he wins the NL MVP, all without a rookie card in Topps Chrome. Then what? I love a little chaos, highly unlikely, but would be fun to watch. Glad you got the two Junior cards, hoping to see him called up soon and get his career started.

Card collecting has gotten so expensive. I been collecting since the 1970's.

First i love the design, looks great in chrome! Def picking up singles of top rookies! The all etched is late 90s finest insert i believe. How do you feel about Jacksons rookies being in base chrome before flagship? Ima still buy them but feels out of order lol the Aaron judge negative was a positive for the rip! Great stuff!

Great video Mr David Gonos and some awesome cards. No I didn't buy any Topps Chrome this year so far. I will next week. I can't wait to see what I get. You got some sweet cards. Have a good one and a great rest of the week, Mr David Gonos and ✌️ to you.

On a positive note. They can’t go lower than one auto next year (can they)???

Pretty decent box! The negative refractor is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing! I'm thinking of picking up another one; my first one was pretty fun.

David - help. I’m retired and want to start buying new baseball cards. I don’t want to trade, at least now. I just want to start buying new cards. Just ordered a 2024 MLB hobby box from Topps since I have no idea where to start. Don’t want to buy cards from collectors - at least not right now. Help! (Perhaps there are other brand new card buyers like me out here.) Thanks for any advice.
