Did DanTDM Spot Huggy Wuggy In Chapter 2? | Poppy Playtime Theory

So you guys have been letting me know in the comments that DanTDM found Huggy Wuggy in chapter 2 of Poppy Playtime.

So of course, after hearing these claims, I just *had* to investigate!

Was it Huggy Wuggy? Let's find out!

Hypothetically speaking, if we run with the assumption that Huggy is dead and has been taken by (presumably) 1006, what if in future chapters/possibly in this one if he did show up somewhere, it’s 1006 disguised as Huggy? It’s basically canon that he’s adding parts of toys to himself, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume he’s been watching us the whole time; ergo, the “Huggy” we might see isn’t actually Huggy, but rather what’s left of his corpse, incorporated into 1006’s new body.

Part of me feels like because it looks like Huggy at a distance, it could be mob games implying that Huggy isn’t quite done, or not, just saying

I have an idea that Huggy Wuggy ‘possibly’ appearing in Chapter 2 was not likely to be the real blue monster we all know and love but instead, a hallucination by our player character. Often when you see shapes in the dark that scare you, first thing you probably do would be to turn a light on and shine it at that, right? When you turn up the brightness, that is the equivalent to shining a light on an imaginary monster. What if it looks like Huggy because that’s what our character thinks they saw? I mean, if you ran into Huggy in real life; I think you might imagine him where he isn’t if you get what I mean.

Hey Tericho, I’ve noticed something that you might or might not have mentioned before ( forgive my awful memory ) but at the end of Chapter 2 when poppy is speaking to you, it seems…like maybe she didn’t just stop abruptly because the train was speeding up? Because if you listen closely it seems like there is a deep rumble or chuckle before she stops talking? Could this be experiment 1006???

The "mechanical parts" are actually just a mural of PJ Pugapiller that's there for some reason

Here me out: Huggy may actually come back in Chapter Three, but he's missing some fur and is just this bloody, blue behemoth that we need hide away from alongside a possible new enemy.

I wanted to add something that might strengthen one of your claims that we are a doll. Something that bothered me in this chapter is that we encounter 2 dolls that talk. We have the opportunity, but we never talk back or ask any questions about what's going on. So I think either our character already knows what happens and who are these ppl, or we are incapable of speaking.. perhaps a doll?

I heard of this claim and immediately thought it's more likely PJ as he's similar colors and still alive, but this got me thinking. Are the Whack-a-Wuggies never venturing elsewhere despite no longer being leashed as well as PJ and Kissy Missy staying in their respective areas out of fear of Mommy Long Legs? Yeah, it's ultimately game mechanics, but Mommy's death may allow for a lot more threats to be roaming about in chapter 3.

Ok question. Since our red hand was replaced with a green one we can't really use the two handed door in chapter one. Do you think the door originally had a purpose but was changed during the creation of chapter 2 or maybe it was a context clue to the player after getting just the blue hand that we will need the red hand later in chapter one. Cause if that's the case you gotta love games that show and don't tell like some games that stop you to explain health bars and stuff (press a to continue) ya know

I think huggy just fell down there, he didnt clime back up or anything. Look at Kissy Missy trying to pull the lever, she can't move her hands or arms easily.

That would’ve been a nice Easter egg especially since we got to see kissy missy in this chapter can’t wait to see more theories for this game! (Edit my bad for the typo with kissy missy)

Instead of climbing, the hair of huggy wuggy could also be from his fall, in chapter one you can see he hits his body on tubes, and in the area with the hair there are tubes, so maybe it was from his fall and project 1006 already took him to upgrade himself

Btw, couldn't the Huggy hair you mentioned be there because 1006 grabbed the corpse and took it through there to make him a part of himself (like mommy says when getting crushed)?

I had a thought earlier and wasn't sure how the timing lined up but I bet that Leith Pierre is either the player or 1006.

I don't know if anybody noticed, but if you look closely at kissy Missy you'll see that she has a blue bow tie similar to what huggy wuggy had or has. You can also go behind the camera and see huggy wuggy before he changes to kissy Missy. Just putting it out there

I think 1006 took the body of huggy just as he did with mommy as he is using their key parts like the fur from huggy wuggy and the elastic plastic from mommy long legs

Theory: What if we, the character is Elliot Ludwig? The owner of Poppy's Playtime. What if a creation got loose and somehow damaged our brains making us forget. At the start we were "a formal employee" adding on with how we've technically been here before.
