It's so exciting to kick off this amazing home makeover process. We are bringing in much needed color to revive this old fixer upper. Today we are officially revealing the color palette of our beach house paradise and Joey has a big surprise for all of us. We need your help deciding on all types of things for this makeover, from paint colors, to projects, to layouts, to DIYS. This is going to be one beautiful before and after!

Blue green would be perfect for the living room. It brings the outside colors/vibe into the living room like how you guys said you wanted last episode. Pink would feel out of place for the first room you walk into

Blue-green, definitely! I am retired and live in Malaysia - a warm, humid climate. In a space that large, the pink color story will overheat the room and not be nearly as refreshing or attractive on a hot afternoon as the blue-green color story. After you've been there for a few weeks, you will find yourself drawn to the cool clear colors of nature around you. Yes, there are accents of brilliant pinks, reds, and yellows, but the majority of the colors are cool and refreshing. The blue of water and sky, the greens of foliage, the lovely white of the sand.

Blue/Green is definitely the vibe. It would be cool to see a dark teal wall with like 3 large hand-painted palm leaves coming up from the side of the wall in the chartreuse color you have chosen! I am so excited to see your guys vision come to fruition.

I definitely vote blue/green for the livingroom, since its a space where the family will spend a lot of time. It would really bring in that indoor outdoor living vibe like yall have talked about. Along with some wood accents and plants around will really be a great start to walk into a tropical paradise like home!

My vote is for blue green in the living room! It would compliment the wallpaper so well and not so shocking (as pink would be) when you walk in the house. I loove the rainbow color idea throughout the house! Can't wait to see it come together!

Definitely blue/green. One of the coolest design tricks I’ve ever seen was seeing someone plant flowers outside each room of a house that matched the color story inside the room, it looked so expensive and luxurious that the indoors was carried into outdoors- embrace the ocean magic!!

I'm with Joey on the not pink! I feel like even though the pink would be a really cool contrast, it would be so much calmer and more relaxing with the green-blue against the nature. Either way I'm sure it'll turn out amazing!

Blue/Green is fantastic for the living room tying everything together with the indoor/outdoor. I am not so sure about the pink even though it is opposite of green. I would go with a yellow before I would go with a pink. Oh, and I like the idea of the chicken coop. You are teaching Moon about how to save the seeds, this will teach Moon how to take care of the chickens and also how you get "free" eggs. You guys are amazing!!!!

Okay I feel like with it being so close to the ocean, y’all have to go with a teal or blue/green vibe. And of course accent it with neutral pieces and fun decor items here and there. I have no doubt it’ll be fabulous when it’s done

Blue Green would give it a relaxing feel and pink would make it a lively space so it really just depends on what kind of nights appeal to you most. Blue Green for cuddling and listening to nature or a wild tropical paradise for entertaining friends. My family would choose the blue green ❤️
