I REALLY like the "canonical index of sidebars" in the back that shows which specific theological topics are addressed across each book. Most systematics just have a "scriptural index" with page #s, so you have to flip through the book to figure out what section it's addressing. I like how in this SB I can read a certain book or chapter, then immediately see what insights it contributes to doctrine. Adds more depth to my Bible study. Excellent!

Unfortunately, the big miss here in my personal opinion is that they didn't include a concise systematic. So going from topic -> verse (the opposite of what I mentioned above). Think Ryrie SB or Ryrie's Basic Theology summaries. Basically condense the articles in this SB down to a couple page summary of KEY verses. Add that and this would have been a perfect systematic quick reference!

ESV Systematic theology Study Bible, ESV Study Bible, its not difficult to decide because I'm not interested.Every time ESV first thing that I think is updated RSV young woman (Isaiah 7:14) and I John 5:7 missing from the text.I Timothy 3:16 He instead of God.But thanks for the info on this Bible.Do you have a review of new edition of Systematic Theology by Lewis Sperry Chafer?

Hi, Pastor Waldron. I'm not sure where else to ask a question, so I'm going to put it here. Have you seen the Berean Study Bible, the NT? I was looking for a large print NT, and found one in the KJV, which is actually perfect for my needs, but I came across the Berean NT and was wondering if you'd seen it. It says study bible, but it's primarily a text with the occasional footnote. The modern language is easy to read. I'd be interested in your opinion on this version; I've always found your opinions to be very astute. Thanks!
