Hungarian Mushroom Soup Recipe (5pts/serving)
My twist: Omit Butter, Wine and Sour Cream. Add 1 cup cooked shredded chicken breast, 1/4 cup Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt, 2 lbs mushrooms instead of 1lb.

New subscriber! I’m on a weigh loss journey as well. I’m not doing WW or tracking just want more realistic accounts to follow that aren’t doing weight loss surgery or using weight loss medication. Great video!!

I used to love paint by numbers! Now I've switched to embroidery so I can stitch and watch tv with my hubby. Walking daily as well. Not too much movement on the scale, but I feel good and love tracking! and food tastes so good! I enjoy every bite and texture. I agree with you that when you had a great steak and wedge salad, you were totally satisfied! My favorite satisfying dinner this month was miso soup, tempura shrimp and vegetables, and a glass of red wine! I need to try those smoked salmon cucumber bites! My snacks are sort of lacking. hard boiled eggs, reduced fat wheat thins with laughing cow cheese. Congratulations on your almost 7 lb weight loss for the month! You are very inspiring. Can't wait to see more of your vlogs.

I am having trouble losing weight. I eat my feelings through my current pain I told you about? Trying to get back to my goal weight has been so difficult. I will make the soup you made in the video.

I love these check ins, they really help me stay on track and accountable.

For lunches I’ve been loving sandwiches with raw veggies and 0-pt ranch to dip them in. My favorite sandwich is a recreation of my favorite from a local deli, it’s only 6-7 pts depending on your ingredients. But it’s as much turkey as you want for the points (I do 2pts worth) with 2pts of bacon and a thin layer of hot pepper jelly on each slice of bread (2tsp of the Tabasco mild jalapeño is 1pt), 2pts for 2 slices of bread, add lettuce and tomato if you want. It’s a nice way to change up sandwiches!

Editing to add, dinner this week I had chicken breast with green beans and mashed potatoes smothered in homemade gravy. 7pts for 1/2 cup of the gravy (I did use some low point butter substitute for half of the butter and a poutine gravy recipe) and potatoes. A really great “home style” dinner that feels indulgent but isn’t too overboard.

I can’t leave a recipe alone, either. My husband asked me once if I ever actually followed a recipe beginning to end. I really don’t remember if I have! 😂

Great job, thanks for sharing. I love seeing your favorite recipes and will for sure try the mushroom soup. I also feel so much better when I get movement in especially getting outside. Looking forward to following your journey. I too lost 6 lbs this month….we got this

i really can't seem to get myself motivated. I hate my body so much and i am so depressed. Mentally I want to lose it, i know what i have to do but physically i can't seem to get myself there and actually do it. Any tips? I want to lose 30-50lbs.
