Be gentle when separating the hair, that helped me to maintain the defined curls and kept it from getting frizzy and tangled

I bought the same hairpiece as well same brand and colour I was as disappointed as you were the fibre was a total disaster

So I think you should done knotless braids coz it seems you braids were big also for the curls it didn’t look so bad the first time.I think your expectations was to big
