The Boeing 777, commonly referred to as the Triple Seven, is an American long-range wide-body airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The 777 is the world's largest twinjet and the most-built wide-body airliner. The jetliner was designed to bridge the gap between Boeing's other wide body airplanes, the twin-engined 767 and quad-engined 747, and to replace aging DC-10 and L-1011 trijets. Developed in consultation with eight major airlines, the 777 program was launched in October 1990, with an order from United Airlines. Next time you should try Eva‘s 787, it has the new VantageXL business class designed by bmw. It’s much better than the outdated business class on the 777 300ers

I flew EVA business roundtrip in the 777 from LAX to TPE 6 times in 2024. I personally really loved the soft product service: The amenity kits, the pajamas, the menu, and the service.

The business class cabins on their 777-300s are absolutely outdated, however they're flying more with 787s and you would not like to miss those more modern, aesthetic cabins!

The cabin on their 787s are much nicer imo, and personally prefer it over SQ, CI, and ANA (old) J cabins (actually chose flying from SEA instead of YVR because of that!)

Fun fact: Starlux shares a lot of similar elements that Eva airlines has offered, because most of the staff members were former employees from Eva. The founder of Starlux was the former Eva’s CEO.

Kind of strange you did not mention their newer 787 business class cabin designed in colab with BMW Designworks. It was launched 18(!) years after this 777 old cabin was.

Love EVA Air. Flew the 777 Laurel Premium Class, from Amsterdam to Thailand back in 2016 and the service was great. Food was great and experience was great.

Travel to Busan via Taipei frequently. With EVA Air you can expect a late departure. But they almost always make it up once airborne. What you do get are a consistently immaculate, unobtrusive and hard working crew. No matter what cabin you happen to be in. That’s why I keep coming back. Their best product by far is Premium Economy, and so it should be they created it.
