Mike Tyson says he now understands why so many people around boxing have compared Tank Davis' fighting style to his own, saying their "stoutness to the ground" and how they throw incredible power are very similar.

We also talked to Tyson about the potential of him returning to the ring. Mike says a big check is important, but most importantly he'd want to put together a bigtime event, and he believes that means an exhibition fight with Evander Holyfield.

Anybody who thinks Tyson still looks like he's still in his prime, didn't see him in his prime. It is indescribable how good peak Tyson was. Imagine someone coming at you with a chainsaw and the only thing you can do is fight.

Lack of height & reach never bothered Mike in his prime. I'm lucky I had the Mike Tyson era 🥊❤

IMO Ryan's height worked against him, b/c a) Tank knew how to use it against him, and b) Ryan doesn't know how to use his height/reach advantage, and/or wasn't focused enough to keep on the outside in a disciplined manner. (He said himself, "I got bored and impatient and wanted to go for the KO"). As Teddy Atlas says, (hilariously I add), "When you're tall like a skyscraper, you got a lot of windows to bust". LOL

I always used to say when Mike Tyson lost his legs he lost his ability to fight. No trainer seemed to train Mike Tysons legs. He should of done vertical jump training.

The thing that beat Tyson (aka Buster Douglas) was lateral movement and the jab. Also Mr Tyson admitted he didn’t prepare properly for Douglas. Those two things don’t seem to be a factor in this fight. Garcia hasn’t demonstrated the lateral movement and Mr Davis hasn’t demonstrated a lack of preparedness. I expect a good fight from the bell however I also anticipate Mr Davis catching Garcia trying to escape linearly as he hasn’t demonstrated a good pivot ability. His tendency to fight in straight lines is going to hurt his chances in this fight ( in my opinion ) .

You AND Evander stay the hell out of the ring!

Mike has made a deal out of punching down over and over. Ryan has faced many guys shorter than him, and it hasn't been an issue. Ryan will attempt to control the fight from the jump, he's a quick starter and I don't think that will change.
