I prefer SPD pedals because they can go much longer without needing maintenance, and by maintenance, I mean regreasing the bearings. Never did I need to replace any parts like you need to do with crankbrothers pedals. IMO the only use for crankbrothers is for short muddy races because they clear mud better than SPD and can be lighter weight.

I did the same hack to fit that piece. But I used a long spoke nipple to put the 2 spokes together.

Hello just jumping in. I'm gonna try some Crankbros soon seen the Ti upgrade kit but also read weight limit 90kgs . Kinda not sure daily weight at 96 kg than plus pack and all ... Not wanting to break 130 euros .

Cranks Bros are nice to use, but I've had 2 break when riding.
The only way to be sure this wont happen is to get the rebuild kit and service them once/ year.
My Ti ones broke a few weeks ago so hope they are still supplying the rebuild kit.
In the meantime,
I prefer Shimano XTR. Can't go wrong with them.

Francis, if Specialized paid for the products that they received then they have ZERO obligation to pay any money to those workers. If you feel so strongly about it, send your own money to those workers.
