Magic Puzzle Company: MYSTIC MAZE! My New Favorite Thing

Fresh off its Kickstarter Campaign and totally sold out, The Magic Puzzle Company's puzzle, Mystic Maze, has rocked my world.

I'll give you as many details as I can without ruining any of the surprises, twists, and turns that this amazing magic puzzle offers.

I just finished The Mystic Maze yesterday and it is by far the highest quality puzzle I have ever done. And the surprise at the end was so much fun!

I kickstarted all 3, and unfortunately they sold them to my local target before they ever sent them to backers. But I ended up getting all 3 for cheaper than the Kickstarter and got a refund from them. I just wish they’d honored their promise that we’d get the puzzles before anyone else did.

On another note, definitely going to be watching more of your videos!

I seen these on Kickstarter but only recently got all 3 as they were sold out. Just completes the Mystic Maze - super interesting puzzle to do, art work is simply beautiful and the ending is very thoughtfully done. Looking forward to doing the other 2 - Sun City definitely looks the hardest so will probably do last!

After seeing your video, I ordered the 3 pack bundle!! It was a great deal on Amazon and I had a gift card to spend. I was looking for a fun puzzle to get excited about and found this video. I am already obsessed and I don't even have it yet. The artwork is stunning and what I'm most excited about is the little details on every piece. So glad I saw this before I ordered the lego puzzle I was eyeing. I was looking for something g with distinct sections, no big one color areas and something to keep my interest. Also, thanks for being spoiler free ❤❤

I'm one of the unhappy backers who haven't received their puzzles. I come here to warn people not to back further projects from this company.

First, the project was originally labelled "Magic puzzles by Max Temkin". At the time, Max already had reduced managerial duties within the company he worked for because of his problematic behavior. Last june, he was fired from his company for harassing other employees. Magic puzzle might not have been aware of his behavior when they used his name but when he was fired, they just discreetely removed his name from the project without communicating on this. The backer's money had been secured and it's all that mattered.

Secondly, after delivering to US backers, they're now just ignoring the rest of the world. Our guess as backers is that they need enough puzzles to sell at Target stores and on Amazon in the US. Meanwhile, they tell us a new vague story every month or so : at first our puzzles were delayed because of covid, then because of a lockdown in the uk, then because of Brexit, then, they were being sorted in their UK warehouse (it lasted a month). For more than another month now, the puzzles have allegedly been "on their way to a new warehouse in Germany where they will be sorted (again ??) and dispatched to backers". Meanwhile any question is answered by "please read our FAQ or send us an email".


The biggest issue here is that, besides not having received our pledge, we strongly feel like magic puzzle are never telling the truth to their customers.

I really like your video, it’s really impressive. I would like to recommend Rainbow Animal puzzle from Elena Essex, that really dust free and with wonderful quality:), as well amazing designs

I got all 3 and loved them. Really unexpected twists, that major puzzle companies are probably going to kick themselves over. I assume/hope they applied for a design patent for this. The Sunny City is harder than the other two.

Welp you sold me on them as well! My parents, in-laws and wife all love puzzles so I got one for each of the 3 households for Christmas 🙂 (then maybe they can rotate later). They're currently being sold at Target, but you have to check in-store. Looks like KS backers that haven't gotten theirs are understandably pretty upset about this, but I guess I get it from the company's perspective.

I just finished this puzzle and was confused. Is the surprise that you switch the two parts at the end and have a whole section open up to complete? Is that the only surprise? Or am I missing something about the middle? Like an ‘aha’ moment?

Not that switching the two sections wasn’t interesting, but I thought when I completed it I was supposed to be like
