I had a crazy idea for your hair doo dads... double sided tape an acrylic bin inside your bathroom cabinet door, making a tray, and store your brush and all there. Lol, it's a combo of several of your tips 😊

Just had to organize the whole house quickly due to new pets. I had saved a ton of boxes in the garage (didn't bother to collapse in prep). Instead of trying to buy boxes I just grabbed cardboard boxes the right width, height and depth. If I couldn't get something I taped them together and cut down to fit. Things would get moved to larger boxes during the process and stuff got moved about easily because it was in a box. I can now use the boxes to slide stuff out from all the shelves. Vacuum and washing shelves could happen this way and later I will purchase boxes now that I know what to get. Some people label them or make an inventory of where those items are which is nice but didn't have time to do more than label a few boxes. Little boxes that fit underwear ended up in my drawers for socks, etc. Otherwise this would have taken ages to do. I see people taking all the clothes out of the closet but I don't have time. So I just sorted clothes and after I wear a skirt and wash then it goes at one end of skirts covered with plastic recycled from the dry cleaner and the hanger is backwards. I am forced to go through these one by one and cannot wear those I have already worn. This way if you are too embarrassed or not comfy wearing something you are forced to discard it or put in a box with wrong size, donate, etc. This is going to take awhile because of summer vs winter clothes but I just have boxes for mend, too large, too small etc in the closet. When done I can sell/donate. It took awhile just to sort by type because for ages I never had the time to do even that much. Skip sorting by season or color. Just grab any bottom and pick a top that works until done. I should get to the shoes someday but that is less important. I tried files in boxes but that was hard so I have a rolling file rack where I sit next to the computer. My computer is now on a rolling table instead of a desk. The desk can be used for hobby stuff. Laptop computers can be in bed with you when sick or use the rolling table with a keyboard shelf in your bedroom if not enough space in bed.

I love the caddy idea! We have 6 children and just the 1 bathroom (we're in the UK, it's not as common to have seperate bathrooms in old build houses) I could do 1 for each of mine, what a game changer! X😊

I use those clear bins also. I love them! Just remember to put silica sand packets in them to absorb the moisture. If you don't, the shoes/bags will get moldy.
