A much-needed win tonight for the home town team. As great as it is to see the offense showing up, I must admit that the starting pitching staff troubles are worrisome. It seems every starter (even our ace Valdez) has been having their issues with control. We all know that pitching is what wins ballgames and the Astros benefited from having one of the best (including THE best bullpen last year) these last few seasons. Hopefully they can build on this victory and get a streak going. Get some sleep lads, you did well tonight. GO STROS!!

Huge win for the Stros we needed it after getting swept my the Mariners who are on fire right now. We need to get back on track and at least get three games in this series to keep pace in division and the wild card.

Because man it’s a tight race and it’s going to come down to the wire these next 35 games.

I’m just worried about our pitching man don’t even know if these guys can hold up. Regardless JV pitching tomorrow so let’s try to get the W Stros

Very refreshing to see a win. This was a nice bounce back win after getting swept in the last series. What’s even better is the rangers lost their game last night too! So now we’re only 1.5 games behind 1st. I hope our offense can keep this up, because our pitching hasn’t been the best in the 2nd half. Gg Red Sox

Dusty needs to consider an opener with Javier. Dude has been getting shelled in the first inning. Imagine if he gave up a three run bomb in the first in Game 4.

Worried about my Stros starting pitching. Javier got paid and the wbc hurt us.. garcia hurt and tuve missed time.. brown is a bullpen arm in my opinion and Framber has been getting rocked.. we need to get back on track. Bullpen is solid and uncle Mike will be a huge addition for the team!! Cant lose hope but I’m not as confident as last year
