Omg I love Antoinette! She's always such a dear when she's on. She sounds like she really love her job and the way she talks about the Gem stones makes me feel like she really does love this business ❤

As an honorary gem nerd I vow to never judge the beauty of gems based on localities

That red beryl bracelet was amazing! I've never seen so many at one time. My jaw dropped.

I’ve had a quick scan of the comments and I don’t think lighting has been discussed yet so I’ll ask: Why don’t you simulate the various lighting conditions that either enhance and detract from the beauty of the gem when you are making episode? If you can set up these various light views, from the old incandescent and fluorescents through to modern LED and ultraviolet lighting it would be a very helpful service to novice and experienced gem enthusiasts. Also, if you combined the lighting with very close motion viewing, you would be providing a comprehensive educational experience that many of us (in remote locations) don’t have access to. I love the show, keep up the great work. Chip from Moresby, via Geraldton, Western Australia. 👍😎.

With the emerald, right before she said its from the US my mind went to North Carolina! This lady in town must have rock hounded in one of the public mines there and brought back a bunch of materials to sell. She didn't know what she was selling but she was selling for a really fair price and I was content. I bought something opaque hexagonal with 3 sides intact that she thought was emerald.. But I presume possibly apatite. Id love to visit North Carolina and get a big raw hexagonal specimen of emerald.. Idc if super clear or opaque.. Just the natural beautiful hexagonal structure is amazing on its own to me.

If I'm not mistaken the red beryl comes from Utah. I think I'm pretty lucky cause I just so happen to live in that state! By the way, that red beryl bracelet was astonishingly beautiful!

Wow another discovery out of Africa!! Aquaprase is lovely. I've been a JTV buyer of gems for many years and now discovering their You tube channel. I learned about all the beryls from JTV and Bixbite is awesome. The ruby Natalie was wearing sort of looked like a pink Spinel. I have a black Spinel parcel I bought years ago from JTV and I absolutely love them. Definitely a new subscriber~~!!

I like the idea of the name “Red Emerald.”
Emerald is my birth stone and have loved this gem since I discovered this.

Ruby is my birthstone and that one is stunning, and the person I'm dating had emerald as theirs. So cool!
