The Saga: Star Wars with Tommy Wiseau - The full story

Every generation has a legend. Every journey has a first step. Every saga has a beginning and an end. Get ready for an epic 20 minute saga about Tommy Wiseau in Star Wars.

After the first Star Wars with Tommy Wiseau video we still had some ideas for a second one. The project started growing, and we kept adding more and more scenes. The video grew from being just random scenes put together, like the first one, to a longer video with a narrative. This has been a project we’ve been working on whenever there was time, and the video got shaped bit by bit. I think the hardest part was the editing, finding which scenes to use, and getting the story to add up and making sense. But we did it, and the video is done!

It's been over two years since we started this project. We've used scenes from seven Star Wars movies. From Episode 2 to Episode 8.

0:38 - Chapter I - Nothing but our love - This is said by Padmé in Revenge of the Sith: “Hold me, like you did by the lake on Naboo. So long ago when there was nothing but our love.”
3:44 - Anakin and Tommy sitting on the couch - There’s a big spoon in the background
4:46 - Tommy asks Yoda about his sex life - The coffee cup has Jedi Order logos on it
5:39 - Anakin wakes up from nightmare - There’s a picture of a spoon on the wall
6:35 - Star Destroyer in the Unknown Regions - The planet in the background is Ahch-Too
8:12 - Kylo Ren reads Tommy’s mind - You can hear Galen Erso’s voice saying stardust, and at the same time seeing the Death Star being projected.
9:34 - The football rises - It speaks in parseltongue (The ball is almost like a horcrux, and Sauron’s ring. Corrupting everything around it, sealing the souls of Tommy’s victims inside)
10:15 - Mace Windu saying “Motherfucker” - This “Motherfucker” is from the elevator scene in the movie The 51st State.
11:17 - Tommy and Kylo on Star Destroyer bridge - They’re looking at the construction of “Tommy’s Planet” (The Death Star)
11:18 - Kylo Ren sings “A Whole New World” - This is Adam Driver singing in a SNL sketch from 2016 (it’s on YouTube).
11:27 - Chapter III - Our new empire - The title is referencing Anakin’s line “I have brought peace, freedom, justice and security to my new empire”.
11:38 - Tommy’s Planet heading towards a planet - The planet is Dagobah. I replaced Alderaan with Dagobah throughout this scene.
11:43 - Leia is escorted by three guards - The tall guard in the middle is Darth Vader. The easiest way to remove him was to add a face and make him a guard.
12:24 - Kylo Ren hologram shows Mark hologram - This is Luke from a deleted scene from A New Hope (Also on YouTube).
12:25 - Kylo Ren talks about Mark - This is Adam Driver from an interview he did talking about Mark Hamill, saying Mark several times, and calling him “an amazing guy”.
12:51 - Tatooine, Mark’s home - In the sand there’s a heart with “PARENTS” written inside it, there’s also a small family (stick figures) drawn next to the heart.
13:22 - Mark looks at the hologram he has received “Do you want to know the truth about your parents? Find them.” - The music playing is “Invisible Cloak & Mirror Of Erised” from Harry Potter. It’s when Harry is looking in the mirror at him and his parents.
14:48 - Mark jumps - There’s a television next to Tommy
15:33 - R2-D2 on X-Wing - Mark brought the television with him and strapped it on to his X-Wing.
16:02 - Kylo Ren saying “Yo, kid” - This is from an episode of Girls, where Adam says this to Hannah. It’s a call back to Luke calling Kylo Ren “kid” in The Last Jedi, saying “See you around, kid”.
16:06 - Kylo saying “Mi casa, su casa. Come!” - This is from the movie The F word (What if?). Adam Driver’s character says this to Mackenzie Davis’ character at a party.
16:20 - Mark walks up stairs - There’s a PistolShrimps logo on one of the screens
16:37 - Tommy tells Mark they love him very much, “I know”, he says - The banner behind the ship outside the window has “We <3 you, Mark” written on it.
18:02 - Mark destroys the football - The scream from the ball is a nazgul scream
19:05 - Force ghosts - I added young Obi-Wan’s head. Replacing Alec Guinness’ head with
Ewan McGregor’s head.
