BMW E36 M3 - 7:25 BTG / Nürburgring Nordschleife / Alex Hardt

Yesterday I was able to improve my laptime to 7:25,3 min BTG. We changed the setup a little bit and now I become more and more familiar with the car. I have to fix the broken "VANOS" the next days, hopefully the engine will be a bit more powerful then..

What a lap, so smooth and calm. Unbelievable skills, most enjoyable on board lap of the ring that i have ever watched. And hearing the S50 B32 sing was great too. I'm on my second M3 and love them. Hope to go there sometime for a few laps in my E46 M3.

I am just so amazed how calm the driving and steering and everything is. I see so many vids of people just throwing the car around and such hasty movements. This feels so relaxing to watch. AMAZING! I hope to see you driving around the ring soon and catch you around at the parking to look at it :D

That’s an incredible video! I got chills watching it. That’s an enviable time for a 20 year old car that’s inline with much more expensive and exotic cars. I drove my brother-in-law’s 2003 M3 on the Francochamps track in Belgium many years ago. Thanks for posting that video.

That E36 looks so at home at the Nürburgring.. It's so stable and planted - looks like you have some amazing dampers and have the suspension really well tuned. No drama just fast and smooth progress, awesome driving too of course ;)
