‘Massive challenge’ for any Democrat to beat Donald Trump

The Australian’s chief international correspondent Cameron Stewart warns it is a “massive challenge” for anyone the Democrats choose as the presidential nominee to defeat Donald Trump.

President Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him as the Democrat nominee after he announced he was dropping out of the race.

“Whoever is the Democratic candidate just has three months to defeat Donald Trump. He is well organised, he's obviously on a high after his convention and the assassination attempt,” Mr Stewart told Sky News Australia.
