The guitar here is Pensa MK1 (Mark Knopfler 1).
Mark was "a bit tired of all the guitar changes for every song". Mark asked his old friend Rudy Pensa to design a guitar, that sounds like Gibson and Stratocaster combined, with Strat's usability. It was designed on a napkin in a NYC coffee shop.
