Nice blast from the past. Another thing we will never get back is a long attention span. I could feel myself thinking "wrap it up" during the segments and I am old, a young person probably wouldn't sit through this video.

About 15urs ago, I had to make a call from an old rotary phone. It took me several attempts to dial correctly and my finger got sore from friction. I kept screwing up the 9s and 8s to the point it didn't work.

METV brought back the cartoon block on Saturday mornings! I love it!

The discotheque and key parties look very similar lol. The reason for 8 tracks decline I experienced wasn't even mentioned. No rewind and I still don't know how they were laid out. Playing tracks in order seemed impossible.

We can never make a call on a rotory phone since the 70's? Pretty sure that one is not true.

First, Yellow Pages were business, not personal. White pages were personal. Second, they were city-specific, not national. Third, a lot of homes still didn't have TV in the seventies. Fourth, the seventies were when touch tone phones were replacing the rotary phones, which were more sixties. Fifth, the 'free love' key party types at their worst had lowe body counts than the average teenager today. Also, He Man, etc., didn't start thr saturday morning toy shows, that was Hot Wheels

The Mimeograph... (powielacz). The 80-th and "Solidarity" in Poland. This machine helped beat communists.

Rotary phones were already on the way out in the 70s, being replaced by pushbutton touch-tone phones.

Most of the "floppies" you showed were "stiffies" i.e. the next technology.

Not the yeollow pages, that was for business phone numbers, the white pages were for personal phone numbers.

This video is filled with exaggerations and inaccuracies.

Nah, I still have an antenna. It's a modern one I plug into the TV to get a bunch of free over the air channels.
