Weird History's Timeline is back and is taking you all the way back to 1970. Coming out of the hippie '60s, 1970 would immediately take a turn, quickly shaping into its own identity. From the rise of Black Sabbath to the Beatles breaking up, to the Apollo 13 mission, 1970 would have America (and the world) on its toes. Take a ride with Timeline as we go back to '70.

Before my dad passed away in Feb this year, he’d visit me and we’d watch Timeline since he really enjoyed reminiscing about the things you covered. So I’m forever grateful for these videos 🥰 thank you for the great content!

This is the kind of content that should be on network television and all the streaming services. We can't forget our history.

80's kid here and I feel like the 70's is just really glossed over so I'm wicked happy this series exists so I can learn the more specific stuff. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

I was born in 1970 but was unaware of most of the history that occurred during that year. Thanks for this awesome video!

I was born in 1971. One of my coolest memories was my dad taking me to the theater to see the First Star Wars Movie on the Big Screen. I was around 7 or 8.

I know we've all been waiting for this series to come back but think about this. Some viewers might be watching this years from now and of various different ages. Decades past so fast and life speeds up. If you have any 70's stories, please share them. It's a time some of us will never be able to experience

Well done, nostalgic and funny. Like how you pick and choose interesting topics as opoosed to standard disasters and news. The 89s and 90s Timelines were da bomb!

One of my fondest memories of 1970 was seeing the Jackson Five for the first time on The Ed Sullivan Show. That performance was the talk of the school yard and school playground the next day.
I turned eleven that year. The technical beginning of my teen years.

This is the best series to ever exist on YouTube

This is amazing. Its like stepping in a time machine. The transitions between the clips showing the cities and commercials at those times really give some awesome insight.

Love it

So glad your back with this series! This is my favorite on YouTube and I’m 1997 baby (25 years old). I’m a history junkie and this series teaches me so much on pop culture and history before I was born! I love it—continue please!
