I ran a fifty watt Marshall clone with a thud hotplate live for years. I wish I’d had an FX loop for it back in the day.

This unit seems to be for everyone that says "I love my old tube amp, but I wish...", then lists things such as wanting it a bit louder or quieter, have a solo boost, effects loop, or built-in reverb. There are other units that do some of these things, but not many that do all of them (the Ox, maybe?).

Does the TAE truncate 3rd party IR’s??I read that you can load 200ms or 500ms 3rd party IR’s, but does the TAE shorten them, and if so, to what length??I can’t find this info anywhere, please help....

I'd like to try one, but something tells me it's easier and better to plug into a low watt amp

Can the Line Out be used for feeding effects to a wet amp, in a wet/dry amp setup?

Can I play my vinyl on my turntable through this thing to get the effects?

Great video! I just got a TAE myself, but to my surprise I haven't been able to figure out how to use it with my vintage Fender combo amps yet. I might just be a dummy, but when I tried to connect my amps speaker cable to the "TO SPEAKER OUT A/B" nothing happened. Then I instead tried plugging my combo amp's speaker cable to the "FROM TUBE AMP" jack, but still was unable to get any sound out of my amp, even after tinkering with the reactive load controls on the front panel. Maybe I'm missing something here? Any tips? Thanks!

I feel stupid, maybe you covered it in the video...but what if you run 2 amps? Can you use 1 box?

If you connect one amp and two mono cabs, plus an stereo delay pedal through the fx loop, will you have stereo sound?

You can finally turn your vintage Plexi into a Katana.

Am I correct in understanding that for recording… We can have our amp head plugged in to the waza, and have the head go directly into the computer with virtual speakers… OR would we be playing a completely virtual amp?

looks like an amazing product but why does it make that Marshall sound like a Rockman

Love the sounds and features of this, and would love to try it with my 5 15w-20w amps for $500! But, for $1300… Wow! Really have to think about that one…

Can the boss Waza tube expander act as an audio interface and be used with amp plugins? (like Neural DSP plugins)

Do you have to select a “cab” type or can it pipe out the sound to my cab without trying to simulate another? I’d assume on a device of this capability you can turn that off but curious.

It's a tour-de-force. Way more than I need. I just need a flexible attenuator for 100watt amp, not all the options the Expander has.
