There's a cheat code that allows most people to jump up a full belt level almost overnight.  

You don't have to become bigger, faster or stronger...

You don't have to learn how to contort yourself into a pretzel...

And it applies to both gi and no gi...

So what is it?  Easy: improve your gripfighting!

If your opponent can't get a good grip on you then it's almost impossible for him to pass your guard.

And if you control the grips then the ball is in your court and you can attack at will.

There’s just no other skill that gives you as much bang for your buck in jiu-jitsu as gripfighing. This is something that everyone does at the elite level, but the skill itself is rarely taught in jiu-jitsu class!

What if they aren't just holding the leg but, pinning it to the ground and trying to move around it?

Can't wait to try this. This situation is probably what I'm struggling with the most when trying to play guard, ie they double grab my leg and start torreandoing.
