My toxic trait is thinking I could do that without a single day of mtb experience.

I’ve been watching your videos and practicing in my driveway. You make everything look so easy 😂

I think

the ability to ride down stairs
and use dynamic “attack” positions
covers most green MTB trails skills.

And the ability to ride up stairs
and balance on one wheel ( front lift, pivot turn )
covers most of blue MTB trail skills.

With my xc bike I'm only riding down...😄

Is your suspension open and breaks engaged when hopping upwards?

So do you keep the brakes locked the whole time? I am able to get the front up super easy and can bunny hop okay but I am pretty bad at getting the rear up

(Edit) watching again it seems like you are a part of a rigid frame into the bike... I feel more like something on top trying to yank the bike, maybe that's my problem... I just don't know how you keep your feet stuck to the pedals the whole time, mine want to come off super easy

But u need to make video how to use brakes to pivot

Do you have the feet locked on the pedals? Because i don't understand how you get the rear of the bike up. Thank you

Instructions unclear. I broke the stairs.

So really only 3 things, because you instructed us to ALWAYS start on the bottom. Numbers 1 and 5 start from the top.

I’m thinking about getting a mountain bike, I’m a pretty big guy 6 foot 220 pounds and I’m looking for a bike that can take a beating because every bike I’ve owned the tires start wobbling after a while. I want to upgrade from trek to something that is going to last the rest of my life and it doesn’t need all kinds of electronic stuff. What one would you recommend?

If you really got skills, number six: hop straight up the stairs one by one.

I am all right on number one but I'm 65
