After interviewing 3 people who chose to leave the UK after having settled down there, I now understand that every country has both pros and cons. In this video, I will be discussing the 5 verified reasons why immigrants are leaving the United Kingdom. This is not to deter you from choosing the UK as your destination. However, my belief is that you deserve to know all the facts before making a life-changing decision.

I would say you can find jerks everywhere, I was bullied and harassed in the UK, and I had to struggle to find a job ( just because MY NAME is NOT EUROPEAN). Still, on the other side, I have met great English people very caring and concerned about my situation and tried t help me with all my struggles ( especially my colleagues and my CEO) they were very supportive!

Stereotyping and racism is a huge problem in the UK. For example it is expected that Blacks will be in non professional carer security or cleaner jobs, Asians are expected to be taxi drivers, corner shops, Whites professional jobs and business. If you as a Black or Asian go for a professional job interview the reason most likely for decision to hire will be related to Equality Diversity Inclusivity requirements to tick the box for the company. You will be the vast minority at work abd microagressions and exclusivity in colleagues behaviour gossip and intolerance will make your life miserable.

I left in 2017....due to brexit and discrimination partially. Don't think it's a country to stay in forever tbh. Just good to be in for some time but not forever :)

In 2016 they were complaining I'm "stealing jobs" and today that I'm not doing that anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I had to leave my last job in UK because the owner didn't like my accent 🤦🏻‍♀️ If you can communicate with eachother what's the problem?! But then those people are going to Spain etc not knowing a single word in Spanish. Pathetic 🙄

Remember as well, it depends where abouts in the UK you move to. If you have been hearing about how rude people are in England for example, then chances are they are talking about London or the surrounding areas. Im English and I hate the South of England, the North is so much better, people are friendly and everyone will talk to you. Btw brexit isn't a race issue, it was an EU issue. Im not saying there isn't racism here but the UK is a very tolerant country.

Vitamin D supplements help fight off depression from lack of sun. And most people can afford an annual holiday to somewhere sunny.

i'm british, studied abroad, and had international student friends. I would say, if you want to have holidays/travel in other countries in europe, you should go somewhere that gives you a Schengen visa. There's a lot of racism here, but there's a lot in other european countries too. But in London and other big cities with large immigrant populations, there is also a lot of violence (both go with big cities, that's the reason they both go together) everyone i knew and me too in london were attacked, some with guns and knives and some of us narrowly escaping with our lives. Places like Berlin have violence but it's not so bad, so constant, so guaranteed.

Wow once every few months to experience racism, if that's the case then one is doing really well. I would say on the lines of maybe once or twice a week.
Racism is riff here.

UK has problems but weather is definitely not one of them :) Autumn: mostly dry and sunny until mid November with beautiful colourful leaves, frost and myst in the mornings and awesome fresh air.. winters: more frost and myst making you feel like an elf in middle earth.. late January - February - may be gloomy rainy and windy - but just about two months that's it. And spring.. man.. snowdrops, daffodils, bluebells, tullips - they are everywhere it's so beautiful, you feel like you are dead already and living in a paradise 😀 nature and weather is one of the best things about UK and together with quite a lot job opportunities make country a very decent place to be..

You can't make close friends with people that's true but at the same time nobody will interfere with your life - every coin has second side no

As a UK person born and bred I am VERY sad to see the racism comments. I truly believe that the recent terrorist attacks have made this worse. Brexit was actually supported by many ethnic minority people because of the cheap labour flooding in competing for jobs. Most English people are suspicious of any stranger regardless of race. It's not personal! The weather very much depends on where you are. The east side of the country is MUCH drier.

Basically, the people are racist and uneducated, the weather is terrible, the transport is expensive and lower class, meanwhile u promote how to publish yr first research paper!

as for public transport, there's none where i live, i'd accept whatever they give me!
Violence is bad here, unless you live in a really rural place. After dark, with groups of young men, and for women, it's much worse. I can't leave, because i have to care for family. If i was younger, i would go to Australia or New Zealand (before covid19) because a visa is possible and there's more upward mobility than in USA.
