Shout out to Devyn Lambright for teaching me Box Method. A homeschool / dual enrollment client of mine who graduated with an associates degree before she graduated from high school and went on to secure her bachelor afterwards. I met her when she began taking High School Geometry & Chemistry. She went on to become one of my paid interns for my center.

This video is LIVE 'raw' footage of me teaching on Zoom during Covid 19 pandemic during Fall 2021 semester at Miles College, Birmingham, AL. We had about 10 minutes left in class and they were about to leave to catch their next class or maybe football or band practice. During the lecture, some were already leaving and they were telling us bye in the chat room. Shout out to my Intermediate Algebra students (special credits to Branden and D'Ahvion)! You will see in real time a student find an error and one we never found - LOL. And how we handled it. #MCHBCU #BearStrong #NoBearLeftBehind

EDUCATORS: It's important to MAKE THEM PARTICIPATE while in virtual learning! My students better NOT leave a Zoom without saying bye. They would if they were in front of me, so let's continue it in Zoom! (HINT: Use reactions OFTEN. Make them throw them up. If you think they aren't all there, stop and say, VIDEO CHECK, everyone ON! and don't proceed until they are all on. Got one can't hear, throw them in the waiting room and let them in again in a few minutes to check.) I was responsible for the remote students that were not on campus or maybe a hybrid / virtual course was better for them. Using one of my several templates I have already premade using OneNote, I was able to write on the screen as they were watching from different locations. You'll see some LIVE tips and tricks for online teaching as well. (HINT: Watch the star in the bottom right letting them know I am done writing, so better grab those pics because I am about to erase the board.)
