My experience with the RainBird CLP Pump Station has not gone so well. Station's VFD faults out frequently. RainBird has sent their ASP to the site and our tech has spent more than 40 hours traveling to the site and changing settings that RainBird GSP has been having our tech do. Problems are becoming less frequent but still occur. The controller mount is nice to have and was why we selected this station even though it was a little more than the Watertronics equivalent. RainBird needs to test these stations more before they ship them. Distributor and other contractors have told me they have had similar experiences. RainBird needs to install unions to allow the pump to be removed. There is no easy way to remove pump from enclosure for repairs or replacement. I'm not sure I would purchase another.
