I feel very sorry for those who have lost loved ones due to this virus outbreak. But, I still believe it is all right to say how you feel, and it is all right for us to all have different opinions and feelings based on our life experiences. This video is called A Day in the Life video, and what is the point of doing a day in the life video if you cannot be honest about your thoughts and feelings? If you chose to watch the video, please choose to respect Ashlee's point of view. It is okay for us to all feel differently!! We have all had different life experiences. I would love to see everyone respect each other's opinions even if they differ from our own❤ I will continue to pray for God's healing for those who are ill and for his perfect will to be done in this situation.

Love your honesty. We are in Ohio. Our stay at home order is extended until May 12. I am resting in Jesus and trusting Him to provide all I need.

I don’t usually comment but here goes! My Husband is a first responder and I have family members that work in health care that have told horror stories of the working conditions. My mother in law is in the nursing home with declining health and we can’t visit her. This amazing women was also a polio survivor. The stories I have heard from grandparents about that nightmare gives my panic attacks. I couldn’t imagine only getting to see my children thru a glass window on Sundays for a year and a half while she was having surgery after surgery. Imagine having to plan funeral for a loved one where you have to have less then 10 people, that is our I will stay home with my healthy family as long as I need to not to kill anyone of my loved ones. I live in IL where they have extended the stay at home thru the end of May. Is that an inconvenience? Yes, is it the worst thing in the world? GOD is in control not me, when he is ready for everything to go back to “normal” then he will allow it. I am safe at home with a healthy spouse and three kids, a roof over our head and food on the table, what more do we really need? Summer plans/vacations, sports, etc being canceled in a inconvenience not a

This whole thing is a roller coaster ride. My attitude changes day by day. God's word and my faith in Jesus are my solid foundation just as you said, praise God for that! That's where our hope lays regardless of the circumstances.❤

I’m not a runner but I completely agree. We are small business owners (consulting) and have lost at least 95% of our business because of all of this. It is not easy. We are scared. My husband has suffered with chest pains for weeks from anxiety and my special needs little one has lost all of her medical care. This “staycation” has been a complete nightmare for us. We are in SC and after acting like our state had plans to reopen soon, the governor just extended the quarantine for 15 additional days. I can’t tell you how depressing this was to hear. The numbers do not support all of this. Also, I think that most people have forgotten the original purpose of staying home. It was not because the virus would disappear if we stayed home. It was to allow health are facilities to gear up for the high demand (which hasn’t happened in my area). Thank you for this video. ❤️

Your son is so intensely listening to you, mama ❤

As a nurse, I still agree with everything you said. Love that you express your thoughts on your channel. Some channels stay so neutral and are so afraid to share their thoughts, it tends to bore me! I think it’s healthy for your kids to hear your thoughts also. It’s cute seeing your son listening to you in the background. That water looks so refreshing!

Great analogy. I am not a runner but I’m a planner and I am unable to plan right now because I don’t know what the future holds and when. I’m in TX and they started today to open things up but my immune system is compromised so I’m staying in for another couple of weeks. Kids are doing great since we live on some land and have a pool. I just have a hard time not knowing when to plan things like vacations. It’s true what you said if I know how long this is then I know if it’s a sprint or a marathon.

Hi Ashlee, thank you for your honesty and vulnerability! I was walking early in the am the other day this last week and I was thinking of you, how much you encourage me and how much of what I use in HS is because of you. Next time I think of you, I will also pray 😉 as I never know what type of week you’re having!

I go through some difficult days as well but not because of being “stay at home”, I think I’m handling it pretty well, I love the “not rushing” to get out of the door for an activity. I believe time as a family is also a blessing. My heart does ache for those that are hurting financially, physically, and mentally. There are many blessings and there are many hardships.

I think from what you shared, without judging and talking politics. I believe it’s very hard for anyone and specially us women to not control our situation. The unknown is something that we have a hard time dealing with. I believe this is an opportunity to surrender 💯 to the Lord and trust Him to transform us during this season, to let Him tear down strongholds that need to come down, to carve out things that is part of who we are but are actually delaying our “progress” to be transformed to the image of our Savior.

When there isn’t much we can do, we can still pray, pray for those hurting, for us to refocus and remember that Jesus is enough. Like you said, I can’t imagine going through this or anything in life without the Lord, so praying for those who need salvation, may this be a time of revival for the world!

I pray for you this week ahead. May this be a good week in quarantine. Have you heard the song The Blessing! It’s so beautiful!

Your Saturday seemed super fun!! Much love in Jesus, Krizia

In Texas, our stay at home order was lifted May 1. I took my kids to a friend's house and he played outside for hours just talking while the kids explored. I felt like the barrier of my depression was broken. It was so freeing!! I am feeling hopeful now.

100% agree! Big test of FAITH!
Having the most faith especially in times of uncertainty. Can be the hardest when there is no end in mind. Finding Peace and comfort through faith in the Lord! He is aware of us!

I agree with you!! Thankfully we live in GA and today was the official day of freedom from the shelter in place. Some businesses have opened as well. I was so excited to go into Dunkin Donuts today. We choose to not live in fear. We’ve been very fortunate that my husbands job is considered essential. I did lose my part time job but we didn’t depend on that money. My heart aches for my family back in NY. Some just don’t understand the troubles that people are going through with job loss and some of my family has been hit very hard financially. I’m over it and ready to get in with life!!

I live in Oregon, and we've never been given an end date. Our state has been sitting on unused tests, and is claiming that expanding testing efforts/making sure hospitals are well-stocked/numbers are declining is what is standing in the way of some restrictions being lifted. And I agree that testing is going to show greater numbers which can only mean greater restrictions/extended restrictions. I wish they would also include antibody testing, because many of us have probably been exposed and either were asymptomatic or had it but just didn't go to the doctor for what we figured was a bad cold or the flu. Definitely a frustrating situation. And I totally feel you on every week/day being different. Sometimes I feel really settled into things as they are, but then other times I'm just reminded of how many people I miss being able to see in person. I'll be happy when we can at least gather in groups of 10!
I am grateful that we were already homeschooling, so that was something we didn't have to adjust to, though there were things that have changed (church, friend stuff, park play, etc.) that has caused some emotional stuff for all of us.
You are right also that Jesus makes things better. I am so grateful for Him.

I know you stated you had a rough week but I think you are handling it amazing! We are a military and First Responder Family so we are simply enjoying having Daddy home on medical leave during this time. Thank you for sharing your story. 😊

I can completely relate to how you are feeling. Your race analogy is perfect. I found your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching your videos. I love your homeschooling approach. We are doing distance learning, but my special needs son’s teacher has been giving us next to nothing. It’s basically up to me to work off of his IEP unless I want to go into complaining mode, which I just don’t. It has been a challenge, but also a blessing in that I have a better handle on what my children excel in and where they need some extra practice. Thank you for making these videos. They are super helpful.

So I was watching your video, and my son walked by and commented on how he likes your son, that he looks like a cool kid and he liked that he was reading. ; ) Ha! Love it.
