The condition with tongue fissures is also known as "geographic tongue." I have it. No big deal unless you go around with your tongue hanging out all of the time. When my grandson was in the NICU, one of the nurses had it, too. What's interesting is that the fissures change their pattern from time to time.

I watched this video because I noticed a familiar sight among the thumbnails. My husband also has tongue fissures. I've never found it disturbing to look at, personally. I would say it is more fascinating than disturbing. Just another unique thing that I love about him.
