Mark Campbell is doing amazing work on the recruitment front obtaining a commitment from Kentucky Center (6'-7") Clara Silva to transfer to TCU. Has also signed Guard Clara Bielefeld (6'-4" - Recklinghausen, Germany), Center Sarah Portlock (6'-8" - Victoria, Australia) and Center Emily Hunter (6'-7" - Nolensville, TN). The future looks bright for TCU Women's Basketball.

Honestly, this was probably one of Dawn's best coaching jobs but it just didn't result in a natty due to a very good and hot team in UConn.

South Carolina could use Madina Okot because they don't have a true effective 5 post player. This year was the 1st since 2019, Dawn didn't have a true 5 spot post player, and only the 2nd time going back to 2012. Feagin/Kitts/Joyce/Dauda was all 4 spot players. Tac is still developing and returning from 2 straight years of high school season ending injuries.

The hype for Jada Williams was absolutely UNHINGED in HS, she was getting approved by Kobe lol. Now she's not even close to a great player, she's not even a good player, she's a slightly above average player. People were calling her a generational prospect and I knew that was pure hype no substance. How can you be a generational prospect when you're a small guard that isn't athletic and isn't a ridiculously good shooter lol. I understand that she displayed probably the most skill you'll see out of a small guard in HS for a very long time, but skill doesn't matter if you don't have any physical tools (size, athleticism, strength) to keep up with players on the next level.

Like look at the way she plays now, she's not even an offensive player anymore, she's just defensive hustle player in college lol. To go from offensive specialist in high school to a defensive specialist in college is an insane drop off that needs to be studied.

That's why people need to stop hyping up "hoopers" with no athleticism as generational prospects lol. A kind of similar player to Jada Williams, with not quite as much hype but still a lot of hype, is Aaliyah Chavez. People are calling her a generational prospect just like they did Jada Williams and I think she's just going to be a good role player at best in college. Chavez is less athletic than Jada, way less skilled, but appears to be a waaay better shooter, a great shooter in fact. So maybe she can prove me wrong with her shooting, but unless she's generational shooter, she'll just be another overhyped "generational" prospect that is nothing more than a good role player at best.

People need to stop throwing around the word "generational" so loosely lol. I feel like you hear the word "generational prospect" every year or every other year, that absurd lol.
