How to make a simple MnO2 supercapacitor

In this video I make a simple manganese supercapacitor with the electrolyte made from two tea spoon of Na2SO4 and less that one tea spoon of K2SO4 instead of K2SO4 you can use also other SO4 materials like MnSO4.

But in this project I dont use activated carbon for the negative active material which was better to get better results instead of this I use carbon black.

FYI: On another Experiments (Load / discharge AAA Alcaline, taken Input energy of Mobile Phone) I recorded the ingoing energy to the cell with the EBD-USB: Switched the Monitor on and saved the Data. Via Spreadshied (Excel) I worked out the ingoing mAh and was able to verify with the outgoing energy; by Mobile test I had the capacity from the Battery. It's not a big deal once you made the formulars. On that off course I got the effency of the cell. What do you (and / or other guys) think about?

Hi! I would be really thankful if anybody or you cayrex could help me with this. At 8:36 you connected the cell but the self-discharge was about 0, 004V / sec. so the cell would be after a day all discharged by itself. Why is that? Or is there a way to slow it down? Thank you very much!

Hi, I seriously need help!
Mabye anyone who did something with Supercaps can help. I have been working on Supercapacitors for 6 weeks now, with no sucess. I made Supercaps with aluminium Foil sheets coated with activated carbon, Kitchen Tissue Paper as the Separator and Sodium Sulfate solution as the Electrolyte. Problem: the "Supercap" had a Capacity of less than 1mF and discharged itself from 1.5V to 0.2 V in a few seconds, without a load connected!!! What did I do wrong?? I need Help very soon, so pls don't hesitate to help, even if you have only a little hint. And be aware, my English is bot very well. Thanks a lot !!!🙃🙃
