40 Things You Should NEVER Do in Rocket League

How I got here…

🔹16 yrs old: Switched to uploading Fortnite videos on this channel. You can go to my uploads sort oldest to newest to see all of my old Fortnite videos
🔹19 yrs old: Rocket League went free to play and my channel blew up. To keep up with the demand for coaching, started the Grand Champ Roadmap --a rocket league course business
🔹20 yrs old: Developed company and continued to scale course business. Eventually, I dropped out of school to pursue Youtube and the company full-time.
🔹22 yrs old: @Virge joined as director of coaching to further improve the coaching experience and help us make more free Rocket league content that is accessible to everyone.

Today: Coaching is how we make our money - not youtube videos or courses.

I like how you presented all of this. I play RL like I played hockey. Never stand still, close the defensive gap, watch for your team. One thing I want to stop seeing with everything you said is if there's a struggle in the corner that it's better to keep two guys on your post and one guy fighting, instead adding another body more likely for a random pinch and leaving one last line of defense alone

Hey, luke can you post the video about how to waste less boost? Because when i watching my replays i realised, that my boost tank after every play in air is fully empty, even if i'm not doing long air dribble or something, that's need that amount of boost usage

How do i change the controller shortcuts in freeplay? Been struggling to improve in air dribbles because the ball just shoots or resets when i don't want to.

17 would be good for those people who give up too quickly and ff right when they can or leaving before then, because I encounter it all the time, I could be top of the board and they would ff and we're only 1 down, and even in the opposite scenario we'd still be able to come back and they just ff anyways, super annoying fr

Yo Luke, would love to see some info on what to do with wall challenges. I notice I get beat a lot on walls and I can't figure out how to do it safely. If I flip off the wall I'm just flying into their net if I miss so I'm usually just not even going for them anymore. Should you even challenge going up the wall?

Playing goalie for me I find it works best backpost but slightly just inside the goal got all the angles and clear options and don't have to worry about being slightly off and tipping it back into goal
