Clarification: the spell she used supposedly cuts in half the victim's mental strength if I recall correctly, what she fell for wasn't the fact he compensated his lack of physical strength with speed, the spell wasn't supposed to affect his strength, what she fell for was the fact that he was so mentally strong that 1/2 his mental strength is still strong enough to beat her.
