Catfishing; Trotlining for flathead (running the lines)

My daughter and my friend Travis and I take you out on the water with us to run the trotlines. We catch a few catfish, including a flathead weighing just over 30 pounds. Please feel free to comment ,rate and subscribe.

This reminds me of me and my daughter...when I'm in my boat...that 17 yr old girl thinks she's supposed to be right beside me...bass fishing, catfishing, bream fishing, it doesn't matter to her at all...as long as she is involved!!!

Last year we run a trot line and about 10 bush hooks and never caught nothing but a gar an two old turtles.

Where you guys from? And yes what did you use for bait? And I adore how you take your daughter, my 10 yr old daughter loves to cut the bait up for me..lol

I went trotlining for flats and when we caught a gar we would cut it up and use it as bait since it was stealing our bait

Great Vid Bud! That last past got me thinking. Yall otta have a video on how YOU skin a catfish. Everyone has there own way, but I would like to see yours. I would of liked to see what was in that 33 pound catfish'es belly. Lol.

We tried gar once, cant say it was good. But it weighed like 30 pounds so a small one might be ok.

I always catch them gar when I run trotlines
